Reply with quote | #1 | My oldest, Emily, is off to camp this week! She always looks so big until something like this happens. She looked very small and unsure climbing the steps of the big charter bus. Her little sister clung to her and cried like she'd never see her again, which made me cry too!
Anyway, sentimental as it was, I was glad for camp, especially since I've already heard that nasally whine "I'm bo-o-o-o-red" several times.
How are you all keeping your kids busy this summer? Any creative, fun, inexpensive ideas out there? |

Reply with quote | #2 | We do movies at the park. It so cool. You sit on a blanket or bring your chairs and they put this big screen up on the park lawn. There is usually 100 people or more there. Best part is it's FREE. We also have a splash pad $1 all day. Lots of fun. We also got to go to Tx. Loved it. We promised our girls a pool for this summer. NC is still on water restricitons where we live. So that is out so instead we bought Season passes to Carowinds(amusement Park) it's 30 min. from us and it is way fun! __________________ Jo P |
